Welcome to Maranatha Cornerstone Church
What Should I Expect?
Whether you grew up in church or if you've never been, a service at Maranatha Cornerstone is unlike what you might expect. No matter where you've been, no matter what you've done, you are welcome at Maranatha Cornerstone Church.
Maranatha is the word for "Our Lord Come" in Aramaic. Our hearts desire is to experience the visitation of God each time we come together in worship or study. It is also our glorious hope waiting for the immanent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ where he will call his church home with him.
A typical Sunday service will generally include a time of praise and worship, a message by Pastor Greg Collins, and ministry time, where we will pray for your needs.
What Does The Church Believe?
We at Maranatha Cornerstone Church believe that Jesus is God's son, that He died on the cross for our sins, and that on the third day He rose again. We also believe that anyone who considers this to be true, asks for forgiveness from their sin, and surrenders their life to Him, will be saved. We believe in the Trinity, God as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. For a more detailed explanation see our belief statement.
Who's The Pastor?
Maranatha Cornerstone Church is led by Pastor Greg Collins. You may have seen him on TV or heard him in person at a meeting he has held. Pastor Greg has a unique gift of making complex biblical truths easy to understand and apply to our everyday lives. His ministry brings a balance to both charismatics and evangelicals as he operates in the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit while firmly holding to the Word of God
What's The Music Like?
There is something for everyone during the praise and worship time. We have a mix of contemporary choruses and more traditional songs. But no matter the song or the style, the music simply serves as a vehicle for us to focus on God and enter into worship.
You don't have to know "church songs" to fit in. The lyrics for all of the worship songs are projected onto screens in the front for everybody to see.
